In 2017, CFI’s work with media professionals continued with a focus on three themes: strengthening local organisations that provide initial training, supporting the projects of young citizens (SafirLab in the Arab world and Citizen Connections in Africa) and helping to foster professionalism in the area of audiovisual production in French-speaking Africa.
